21230 is a private matchmaking and introduction service. This policy sets out what is expected of everyone who applies to or takes part in 21230, what is not permitted, and what happens when somebody breaks these rules. It applies alongside our Membership Terms and Privacy Notice.

By submitting an application, or by taking part in 21230 in any way, you agree to this policy.

Who may use 21230

What we expect of you

Strictly prohibited

The following are strictly prohibited on 21230 in every circumstance. There is no warning and no second chance. Anyone involved in any of them is removed immediately and permanently, without a refund, and the matter is reported to An Garda Síochána or the relevant authority.

What is not permitted

The following are also prohibited on 21230, and any one of them is grounds for immediate removal.

Dishonesty and impersonation

Financial exploitation

Sexual services and adult content

Harm, harassment and abuse

Misuse of other people's information

Immigration and marriage arrangements

Misuse of the service itself

What happens if these rules are broken

We take reports seriously and we look into them. Depending on what has happened, we may do any of the following.

Where the conduct is serious, in particular anything involving fraud, sexual misconduct, threats or harm to another person, we will remove you immediately and without warning.

Reporting a problem

If someone behaves in a way that breaks this policy, tell us. Use the contact form on the homepage, or reply to any email from us, and mark it urgent. Tell us what happened, when, and with whom. We will speak with you about it, and we will not share your report with the person concerned without discussing it with you first.

If you are ever in immediate danger, contact the emergency services first. In Ireland and across the EU that is 112, or 999 in Ireland and the UK. Please do not wait to tell us before you do that.

Please also read Dating Safely, which sets out what our screening does and does not cover, and the precautions worth taking with anybody you meet.

Where our responsibility sits

21230 introduces adults to one another. We read every application, we speak to people personally, and we act on what we are told. We do not control what members do after an introduction has been made, and we cannot be present for what happens next.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any consumer rights or legal responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service develops or as the law changes. The date at the top always shows when it was last updated, and the version published here is the one that applies.
